Rainy days in the big city

Sebastian was awake pre 5 am this morning and yet was the last to be ready for the day! After a very slow start (by the boys!) , we walked the lovely 700 metres to Palmers Green Station and headed for Picadilly Circus. Coming up out of the station the grey clouds, dark light and drizzle made for a very different feel to our June visit . No sooner had we crossed Regent Street the rain “set in” which required some emergency brolly purchases from Boots. The kids wanted to go through Soho to visit some of their by now favorite shopping haunts. Decorations aplenty for the Xmas season, including a Christmas tree of designer shoes ❤️!

Then for a walk down Oxford Street to look for Mayfair Mercato – a recent Insta find. St Marks Church – built in the Greek revival style in the early 1800s and deconsecrated in 1974 – it’s a super cool food emporium of all kinds of food and drinks – it was so unique and cool we all loved it – Japanese ramen was the kids choice for lunch while mum and dad had Malaysian!

Headed back home where Olivia and Joe stayed in for the night whilst Sebastian and Bec ubered over for dinner with the fam and some high energy end of day shenanigans with the niblings .
