What a day … we had BIG plans today and we made it through them all tired but happy! What a day .
First up pastries at a local spot we hadn’t tried before in Palmers Green then into the city.
Hopped off at Green Park for a walk through Green and St James park- lovely winters views of the city and squirrels, ducks, geese and swans with personality!
Kids and Joe explores the Churchill War rooms after which bussed it back to to Chinatown for dim sum lunch , with a stop along the way into the Lotus showroom! .
Literally bursting at the seams, we headed down to Battersea Power Station , an art deco piece of power infrastructure of days gone by which has been redone into one of the most impressive modern shopping and waterfront areas known we’ve seen here so far. But we weren’t here to shop – we were here to ice skate !
Kids has an amazing “Xmas movie moment” skating outdoors under the Xmas lights ! Had a walk through the shops afterwards and were treated to an impromptu piano performance by random member of the public!
From there headed to Victoria where we’d managed to snaffle some last minute tickets to Hamilton – best show amazing music great London experience ! Very very special treat for all of us !
