Verona – Final day

Day started out early as RC set out with the two boys for an early morning breaky of pastries followed by a tour of the high-end sports shoe and gear shops!

Following that, the boys headed off to the Ferrari factory and museum – Sebastian was in heaven with so many amazing cars to see and examine close up! After that the boys visited a cousin’s lovely rural property outside Moderna for a 4-hour lunch!

Meanwhile back in the city , RC and OC caught the Robert Doisneau exhibiting that just happens to be in town . Special treat for RC to see some of her favorite picks up close and OC loved all the old photos and their candid styles.

After this we had lunch in a bustling restaurant just off the piazza – liver and polenta for Olivia, and lobster gnocchi for RC.

Olivia headed home for an afternoon rest , whilst RC and Julius set off on a walking tour through eastern Verona , over the river to the Guisti Gardens and Pallazzo – a spectacular renaissance garden oasis complete with hedge mazes, statues and tree lined pathways up to a series of city lookouts!

A packed last day !
