Started the day with a speed pack and a final breaky in the main Piazza near the arena . It was a gorgeous crisp summer day and we met up with some other cousins from Australia who are travelling in Italy at the moment as well.
After a quick catch up we hit the road.
The fine weather turned very misty and foggy as we drove but after about 3 hours we arrived at our new digs in Udine – a fab little renovated apartment right in the old town.
Just settled in the afternoon but the town looked promising .
Went out for a walk at night – what a little gem of a Venetian town – spectacular – and no tourists!
The piazza near us is all lit up at night for the festive season !
