… and we’re back out and about !
Daytime drive to the UNESCO-listed Civadale – a very old town dating back from medieval times with many old buildings from the 14C still lining the back streets.
Top highlights were the Ponte di Diavolo ( Devils Bridge) commenced in the 1200s and rebuilt after many collapses during various wars throughout history.
As well as the Natisone River that flows through under the bridge . Called “the Emerald Beauty” due to its unique green colour .
Rounded the day out with a very special experience – attending a Serie A soccer game between Udine (home team) and Lazio . So much passion combined with fake injuries , awesome soccer skills, wild fans and a good few smoke bombs and flares .
