Not much to be done about the weather today – plus everything we closed for public holiday, we set off on a drive to Gemona . Foggy drive to a quiet town but on the way make we ventured well off the map to find a running alpine waterfall and the most incredible colored torrents…
Forget to mention… yesterday afternoon in Udine Joe and the kids went to see the fencing world championships- just happened to be on in Udine this week! Very cool.
After a slow start we set out to explore our new location in daylight. Lovely little streets , lots of church bells ringing and a very strong Venetian influence.
