Retracing our steps from yesterday we continued on further through the cobbled streets to visit 2 major churches – St Anastasia and the Verona Cathedral – both beautiful , especially the unique ceiling paintwork in St Anastasia .
The walked down the river, explored the little laneway shops and cross the old bridge to then catch (another!) cable car up to the Castle .
Amazing views from the top – we spent a lot of time there just relaxing and enjoying the view and the fresh air.
Then the walk home with a stop at Amarino for ice cream.
